“I have never felt pain like this, never been this lost” — Nigerian musician Magixx mourns mother

Nigerian singer Magixx has mourned his mother in an emotional tribute following her death.

The musician described his loss as the deepest pain he had ever experienced, saying he was still struggling to process the reality of losing his mother.

“I have never felt pain like this, never been this lost. Still processing that this is real, can’t believe this will happen to you, Mom,” he wrote.

Magixx recalled how his mother fought for her family, friends and even strangers, particularly during the last six years, while maintaining her strength and cheerful spirit despite her illness.

He described her as his “reason,” “guardian,” “twin” and “everything,” while praising her kindness, wit and free spirit.

The singer also expressed pride in being her son, saying he would choose her again in every lifetime.

“I am going to miss you so much! Nobody can take your place. This isn’t goodbye, it is goodnight, as we will surely meet again in the morning, my queen,” he added.
